“Today the product value of textile in Shaoxing is around 200 billion yuan, and we will reach to 800 billion yuan in 2025 to build a modern textile industry group.” It is told by the administer of Economy and Information Bureau of Shaoxing city, during the ceremony of Shaoxing modern textile industry chain community on 30 Deccember 2020.
Shaoxing is located in the south wing of Yangtze River Delta, and it has the biggest fabric distributing centre of Asia. As the data shows, the textile industry has reach to 28% of Shaoxing city industry economic aggregate, it is around 1/3 of textile industry gross scale of Zhejiang province in China. In 2019, it is said that there are more than 70,000 factories in Shaoxing, including small family business, and 1862 enterprises above designated size, their production value clost to 200 billion yuan.
At present, the textile industry scale in on the top of total scale in China, and the ablity of creative and intelligent manufacturing also at front.
